starting in 2016, i have been using 35mm film as a medium to capture treasured times where a frame could express what i felt in that moment. despite being in a digitalized world, i believe that film is romanticized to portray certain emotions, which is why the effect of film speaks to me. shooting film also comes with delayed gratification and skill to understand the format, which was why i wanted to learn how to be able to photograph in film. i currently shoot mostly with a canon eos 650, however sometimes experimenting with pinhole cameras (papershoot), disposable cameras, a nikon em and also a ricoh camera.
